The UCSF MyChart login portal makes it easy to stay connected with your care team and gives you secure, 24/7 access to your personal and family health records. • Schedule or manage appointments at UCSF clinics and hospitals.

  • Activate two-step verification support, which enhances the security of your account.

  • Share your health information with outside providers when needed.

  • Link your UCSF MyChart to records from other MyChart-enabled hospitals or clinics.

How is UCSF MyChart Login Secure?

UCSF MyChart uses advanced encryption technology to keep your personal health data safe. All communication between your device and UCSF’s servers is protected with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, ensuring your information stays private during every login session.

For added protection, UCSF MyChart supports two-factor authentication (2FA), which requires a verification code—sent to your phone or email—in addition to your password. This extra step helps prevent unauthorized access to your account.

Only you and your authorized care team can view your UCSF MyChart information. If you grant proxy access to a family member or caregiver, you control exactly what they can see and manage. UCSF Health also runs continuous monitoring, routine security updates, and regular audits to prevent breaches, providing a safe environment for online healthcare management.
